PROTECT YOUR CREATIVITY

Focusing on the most meaningful aspects of your work while balancing the realities of financial and marketing pressures is a monumental task.

Let me help alleviate those pressures while you concentrate on your strengths and interests.

WHAT WE CAN DO TOGETHER

GIVE STRUCTURE TO CHAOS

Get organized, make sense of conflicting advice, chart a clear course forward and find a balanced flow that is nurturing to your core work. I'll help you do the things you already know you should.

BUILD OUT A REALISTIC PLAN

Demystify business principles and map out achievable building blocks to growth and profitability — or more recurring income and more satisfying work.

RAISE MONEY

The money is out there. Identify sources, map out an actionable plan and talk to the right people, in their language, about the true potential of your work.

TAKE CARE OF BUSINESS

Share responsibility for key day-to-day business matters so that you can focus on the aspects of your work that you find most fulfilling.

Whatever your resources: together, we’ll figure out how you can take the biggest and best step forward.

Consulting fees can be customized for your unique needs and are based on the resources available to you, the scope of work and the level of my involvement. This usually means a percentage of your project budget or monthly operating expenses. (I can help you figure that out.)

I AM BOTH KINDS OF PEOPLE

IMDb | LinkedIn

As a lifelong filmmaker, I understand the unique challenges creators face each day, and I'm all too familiar with the tension between what's good for one's art and what's required for modern business.

At the same time, I’ve been in organizational leadership positions at corporations like Google and The Honest Company and have helped launch well-funded tech and healthcare startups. As a result, I have a deep understanding of what makes good businesses work, and I've learned how to engage effectively with the financially-oriented, especially on behalf of those whose strengths are in other fields.

I’m always most fulfilled when I use my knowledge, skills and effort to make art and empower artists. If there’s a chance I can help you, even by just talking through a problem, send me a note. If we find that I can’t help, I’ll still be rooting for you!
